It will be a November for me to remember, at least! I am so honored to be kicking off Transgender Awareness week at BookBurn and hope to see you Friday the thirteenth. There will be a reading and discussion centered on visibility. While at BookBurn's, be sure to say hello to me, author and LGBTQ+ activist, Amber Fourman (AF Rose)!

Through my writing and advocacy, I have set out to inspire queer and transgender youth to see a future where they can thrive, while helping allies better understand the transgender experience.

Signed copies of my recently published first book, My Life in Transition - Becoming a Phoenix, a sharing of one year of my journey embracing my authentic self and creating a life on my own terms, will be available for purchase.

Wednesday, November 18 from 8pm Burner Discussion Series -

Gender Identity

Whether you identify as transgender, an ally, family member or are just plain curious please join in this discussion that goes beyond the binary.

Come enjoy your favorite beverage a delicious snack and a meaningful dialogue. The lived experiences of gender non-conforming people should inform any meaningful discussion on gender identity, and this discussion will have exactly that.

This will not be a spectator event!

Join us Saturday, November 21 from Noon at BookBurn Cafe & Social for another afternoon of coffee, conversation, and new connections!

Come grab a coffee or cold drink, catch up with familiar faces, meet some new people, and enjoy a relaxed Saturday afternoon with your queer community.
